Since March 1, 1999.

------- That it is, nevertheless, a meaningful notion; that there are better
and worse epistemic conditions for most judgements, and a fact of the matter
as to what the verdict would be if the conditions were sufficiently good, a
verdict to which opinion would `converge' if we were reasonable, is the heart
of my own `realism'. ------- (H. Putnum, Realism and Reason)

There are two important features which characterize the members of our laboratory:

 (1) We use only TeX in any requirements for the word processing,

 (2) We use only Linux as an Opereting System in our researches.

We are considering that in order to persuade the truth, we have to know what's the
soundness of tools on which our knowledges depend. It is our duty to consider by
ourselves with our own realities and the reason without relying on any authorities
and/or standards. Of course, this is the essense of the philosophy we may find in
the history of Mathematical Economics in Osaka University.

``URAI LABORATORY'' is a fellowship among students and researchers who are related
